And I am pretty much alive and kicking. I am still all in one piece, being a fujoshi as I have always been.
Well, for those of you who are so sad that you weren’t saved and didn’t even notice the Second Coming of Jesus, I am so sorry for you. I understand that you have been such a devoted believer, and you weren’t saved in the end. Life is hard. That’s a harsh reality.
Buy hey, don’t be too upset! I found a revised prediction (on wiki) from the preacher who said it was the end.
“On May 23, 2011, Harold Camping issued a statement that his prophecy had been off by five months. He now claims Judgment Day will come October 21, 2011, the date he had earlier predicted for the destruction of the world.Camping said his company would not return money donated by followers to publicize the May 21 prediction. “We’re not at the end. Why would we return it?”
Yeah. Things like that happen. Predictions go wrong, a respected religious figure loses some respect, other religious groups start to attack and criticize….People make mistakes, guys. Don’t start pointing fingers at him or at the group that started this doomsday prediction.
Perhaps, you can put the blame on yourself for being too naive. Put the blame on yourself that you aren’t skeptic enough. Let them say whatever they want, those are just words and if you choose to believe them, don’t blame them that they have deceived you or so.
It was your choice to believe them.
Survive the remaining days of the year, my fellow comrade.
Don’t ever let the Great Disappointment day come back in 2011 again.
